Gordie Hillard Robinett, born December 22, 1921 in Livingston, Texas, passed away on March 28, 2020 in Livingston, Texas at the age of 98 years.

He is survived by his daughters, Shirley Lee & husband Lacy, Patsy Kay & husband Jodie, Terrie Gresham & husband Terry; brother, Winfred Robinett; grandchildren, Dennis James Cleveland, Tanya Sanderford, Donald James Robinett, Joey Kay, Jeffrey Kay, Jayson Kay, Lauren Kay, Misty Brown, Malinda Cook; nineteen great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; service dog, Daisy May ; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

Gordie is preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Robinett; parents, Jay & Arminta Robinett; brothers, Reginal Robinett, Audry Robinett; grandsons, Dustin Sanderford, Brent Cleveland.

He was a member of Onalaska United Pentecostal Church, a Veteran of the United States Army having served in WWII, 82nd Airborne, Snipper, Paratrooper where he received one purple heart medals.

Gordie was a Farrier and had the honor of shoeing Roy Rogers horse named Trigger.
