Tonya grew up in Houston, studying communications at St. Thomas University. She had a brilliant mind and excelled at everything she pursued. Focused on writing, her first book was published in 2004, as a legacy to her children.
She was an amazing friend, artist, wordsmith, mother, wife and musician. Tonya's greatest joy in life was her husband and sons. She was a beautiful person, a pure magic with a heart of gold. Always insisting on a hug, her spirit illuminated everyone she touched and brought happiness to anyone she met.
She burned too brightly for this world, and like all magical things, will now pass into legend. My soulmate, my immortal Queen, will live forever in our hearts, and we will miss her each day.

Austin, TX Friday, April 3, 2020 I wasn’t fortunate enough to know Tonya personally but I know Jonathon (Rev as I call him) pretty well. I would always hear Tonya in the background she always sounded so happy, personable, and full of life. She and I shared a similar condition that I know is difficult to live with but I know she’s at peace now and no longer has to deal with that. My condolences to the whole family.Linda kusmierski
