Kathryn Carney Evensen was born July 30, 1947, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to Don and Thelma (Leas) Carney. She passed from this life on October 21, 2023, at the age of 76.
Kathryn had an eventful, productive life growing up in Kalamazoo, Michigan. A career spanning from Matrix PDM engineering, Budweiser and Livingston Concert Association. She worked with various local communities and churches. Kathryn enjoyed playing cards with her various groups she was in. Kathryn enjoyed her time with First Methodist Church. She was a special bonus in all our lives.
She is survived by her loving husband, Asbjorn Evensen; children, Scott Snow & family, Julee Eddy &husband Benjamin and Karena Dawson & husband Wesley; niece, Dyann Wilson & family and Amy Scott & family; nine grandchildren, and nine great- grandchildren; as well as many other loved ones and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Don and Thelma Carney, son, Spencer Snow, and brother Michael Carney.
A Celebration of Kathryn’s Life will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at the First Methodist Church, in Livingston, Texas, with Pastor Joel McMahon officiating.
Services are in the care of Pace Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
