Bruce Edward Bishop Sr, born in Dayton, Texas to Jack N. Bishop and Jaqueline Cavanaugh on March 29, 1948, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022, in Point Blank, Texas at the age of 74 years of age.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carol Bishop; sister, Alice Troglin; children, Melody Hall & husband Randy Hall, Bruce E. Bishop, Jr & wife Jennifer Torres, Tammy Shannon & husband Jimmy Shannon; grandchildren, Crystal Oxsheer & husband Daniel Cogan, Jacob Gonzalez & wife Alicia Gonzalez, Ryaine Gonzalez, Cobey Minton, Cody Shannon, Nicolas Shannon; great grandchildren, Jonathan Oxsheer, Kadin Oxsheer, Richard Allen, Laryn Gonzalez, Emmy Gonzalez, Brynna Gonzalez, Landon Gonzalez; two nieces, Autumn, Kayla; nephew, Arlis; several great nieces & nephews; numerous other dear relatives and friends.
Bruce is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; mother-in-law & father-in-law.
Visitation will be held from 12pm-1pm Friday, October 14, 2022, at the Chapel at McAdams Cemetery 1251 FM 1696, Huntsville, Texas. A Celebration of Bruce’s Life will begin at 1pm with Chaplain Tom Brouwer officiating. Interment will follow at McAdams Cemetery.
