Roynel Meadows Kellar, 81 of Livingston, TX passed away peacefully Monday, May 17th, 2021 She was born October 6, 1939 in Cleveland, TX to loving parents Dewey Harold and Flavia Joyce Williams Meadows. She had five brothers George Henry, Dewey “Bucky”, Harvey Wayne, Frankie Donald, and Jerry Mack Meadows, and one sister Pamela Isaac. Roynel grew up around Tarkington area and graduated from Barbers Hills. On December 15, 1958 she married Jerry Kenneth Kellar in Conroe, TX. They had three boys Verlyn Craig, Karl Alan, Sammy Kenneth Kellar. After the brith of her third child, Roynel earned her certificate to be a hairdresser. Tragically her husband Jerry passed away March 16th, 1971 and Roynel set out to raise her three young boys on her own. In 1976 Roynel moved her family to Livingston, TX. There she was a hairdresser, ran the Quality Stamp store, and worked in the craft department at Wal-Mart #275 until she retired. Roynel was a talented seamstress and painter. She enjoyed crafting, reading, and watching football, and spending time me with her family. She loved cooking and trying new recipes. Roynel spent her last years peacefully at Livingston Seniors Apartments where she gained a new group of friends she loved. Roynel was proceeded in death by her parents, her five brothers and her son’s Craig and Karl Kellar. Roynel had had 7 grand-children, 11 great grand-children, and numerous nieces and nephews. Roynel was a strong lady and loved her family deeply. Her constant companions through the years were her daughter in law Melody Kellar and her baby sister Pamela Isaac. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
