Robert Lindy Spence born March 12, 1932 to Ernest Spence and Ruby Lee Gibson in Gainesville, Texas, went to be with the Lord on November 19, 2017 in Houston Texas at the age of 85.
Robert was a member of the First Baptist Church in Woodville Texas and was a Veteran in the United States Army having served in the Korean War.
His loving family includes, his wife Elizabeth of 34 years; daughters, Cristi Daughenbaugh and husband Daniel and Marti Spence; Five grandchildren, Katelyn Gann, Austin Daughenbaugh, Arron Daughenbaugh, Kourtney Lanhan and Kiele Lanhan. Numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM November 21, 2017 at Farley Chapel Cemetery in Shepherd Texas off of FM 2666, with military honors provided by VFW post 8568.
