Maria Teresa Cano was born on February 12, 1942, in Piedras Negras, Mexico, to Andres Cano and Altagracia Vielma. She went to be with the Lord on October29, 2024, in Livingston, Texas, at the age of 82.
Maria's unwavering love and devotion to her family and friends will forever be cherished. She was a faithful servant of God, Maria lived her life with grace and compassion, always putting others before herself. Her kind heart and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. Maria's passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her memory will continue to bring comfort and joy to those she left behind.
She is survived by her children, Ana Maria Bermea, Deyanira Alvarez & husband Hector, Isidro Trevino & wife Maria Trevino, Armando Trevino & wife Angela, Jose Trevino & wife Norma Trevino and Luis Trevino & wife Alejandra; sister, Estela Cano; grandchildren, Esmeralda Flores, Juan Ruiz, Eliana Gutierrez, Yari Caracheo, Angel Bermea, Maria Sanchez, Sarahi Sanchez, Hector Alvarez, Alejandro Trevino, Deyanira Mata, Erica Trevino, Eric Trevino, Stephanie Trevino, Deyanira Escalante, Gabriel Trevino, Alma Trevino, Jesus Trevino, Reyna Trevino, Noe Trevino, Josue Trevino, Jeffrey Trevino, Joshvette Trevino, Luis Trevino, Kathy Trevino, and Natalie Trevino; 36 great grandchildren, and 10 great- great grandchildren, as well as many other loved ones and a host of friends.
Maria is preceded in death by her parents, Andres and Altagracia; grandchildren, Oscar Flores, Juana Bermea, Felipe Ruiz, David Villagomez, Madelyn, Izahiaz, and Mateo Mata; as well as her brothers and sisters.
A visitation will be held from 5:00p- 9:00p, Friday, November 1, 2024, at Pace Funeral Home, in Livingston, Texas.
A Celebration of Maria's Life will be held 2:00p, Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Pace Funeral Home, in Livingston, Texas, with Brother Ismael Hidalgo officiating.
Interment to follow at Restland Memorial Cemetery, in Livingston, Texas.
