Wilma Jean Jones born on December 23, 1938, in Oklahoma to ASA Derrick and Ruby Lennon, passed away on Tuesday, January 04, 2022, in Conroe, Texas at the age of 83.
She is survived by son Brad Jones & wife Patsy; brothers in law, Leon Jones, Butch Jones, and Bill Jones; two grandchildren, JoAnn Herman & husband Allen, Samantha Woodward & husband Jason; one great grandchild, Jason Bradley Woodward; as well as many other loved ones and a host of friends.
Wilma was an inspiration for many. Dedicated to education and a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Coldspring. She showed all that love is an action. Family meaning more than anything.
She is preceded in death by husband, Dean Jones; parents, Asa Derrick & Ruby (Lennon); sister, Patricia Ann McFadder.
Wilma’s Celebration of Life will be held at on Monday, January 10, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Coldspring, Texas with Honorary Speaker Dalton Currie and Pastor Phil Harrington officiating.
