Fred Allen Alpers, born July 18, 1948 in Silsbee, Texas, passed away on March 29, 2021 in Cleveland, Texas at the age of 72 years.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Barbara Alpers; children, Rickie Alpers & wife Michelle, Joe Anderson & wife Shelly, Donna Bridgeman & husband Bobby, Jonie Ellis & husband Tommy, Johnny Anderson & wife Kelley, Charles Alpers; brothers, John Alpers & wife Brenda, James Alpers & wife Sharon; sisters, Freda Morris & husband Roland, Judy Rucker; twenty-two grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Fred is preceded in death by his parents J.L. & Ruby Alpers; two brothers.
He was a Veteran in the United States Army having served in Vietnam.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Pace Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Fred’s Life will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, April 2, 2021 at Pace Funeral Home.
Interment to follow at Menard Chapel Cemetery.
