Kayleigh Adair McLaren
October 7, 2026 - February 11, 2026

A deeply loved daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, Kayleigh Adair McLaren, 34, of Livingston, Texas, passed away suddenly February 11,2026 in The Woodlands, Texas. Kayleigh was born in Webster, Texas on October 7, 1991. She began life in Texas City, Texas with her parents James David “JD” McLaren and Rhonda (McLaren) Dahse then moved with her family to Livingston, spending over 20 years as a resident and a graduate of Livingston High School, Class of 2010. She was preceded in death by her father James McLaren and stepfather Mike Dahse.

With profound loss her family reflects on what a kind heart Kayleigh possessed. She was the embodiment of generosity and giving, with a true volunteer spirit and fierce love and devotion to family and friends. Kayleigh approached her days thinking more of how she could bring joy to others, and less of herself. She demonstrated this with her extensive volunteer work, including volunteer construction, often aiding members of natural disasters.

If asked, she would say her family and her faith as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses where the most important tenants of her life. She enjoyed spending time with her lively extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and family friends, hosting and attending so many gatherings, many to cheer on her much-loved UT Longhorns and Houston, Texans, and to enjoy her favorite country music.

She is deeply mourned and survived by:
Her mother Rhonda Dahse, brother Zachary McLaren and wife Megan, sister Lindsey McLaren, grandfather Thomas Alford and wife Gale, aunt Mindy Ploss husband Ansel, aunt Elisha Brown and husband Matt, aunt Katie Charo and husband James.
