Jimmy (“Jim”) Lee Moss, 76, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. Jim was born on March 4, 1949 in Houston, Texas to James Henry Moss and Evie (Heflin) Moss of Lake Jackson, Texas. Jim and Kathy together pursued their passion for breeding and showing English Bulldogs and jointly founded and operated MossRose Bulldogs for over 20 years. MossRose Bulldogs achieved success in the show-ring and they bred several champion English Bulldogs. Jim was inducted into the Bulldog Club of America Hall of Fame in 2004 with Kathy following in 2008. He also served as President of the Bulldog Club of Texas. Jim was a life long Houston Astros baseball fan and delighted in attending games with Zeph. He showed his love for both his son and the game by coaching all of Zeph’s Little League teams.
