I am so very blessed to be one of the "bonus kids" who received lots of unconditional love and guidance from both Maydelle and Charles. I've always been made to feel a part of the Delaney clan and I will forever hold dear the wonderful memories of time with my "bonus parents" and family. Maydelle has left a legacy of love that lives on.

Maydelle and Charles Delany were steady fixtures in my teenage years. Their faithfulness to serve at First Baptist Church of Genoa made a huge impact on me during those formative years. Always kind with a love for the Lord that was evident in their speech and actions. I looked up to their three children, Richard, David and Nancy as role models and the Delany family will always have a special place in my heart. I am so thankful that we will see Maydelle and David again soon and look forward to that special reunion! My love and prayers to Charles, Nancy, Richard and the entire family during this time of grief and loss. I know God will be close to you and give you strength in the days ahead. ❤️
