Joel loved fishing, the Texans football team, and most of all, his music, which allowed him to express his love for the Red Hot Chili Peppers to all that would listen. As a loving father, son, uncle, brother, and friend, he will be dearly missed.
Joel is survived by his grandmother; Betty Pennington Coker, parents; George Wayne Coker Jr. and wife Sterle and Sherry Eaton Crochet and husband Mark, siblings; Jenny Coker Krumnow and Nicholas Coker and wife Laine, children; Kristen Coker, Roland Coker, and Cameron Coker, longtime girlfriend; Susy Maldonado, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Pace Funeral Home, 200 FM 350 N, Livingston, TX on February 20, 2021 at 2:00pm with Pastor Howard Daniel Jr. officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00pm 2:00pm preceding the service.
Interment to follow at Restland Memorial Park in Livingston, Tx.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Feed My Starving Children (fmsc.org)
