He is survived by his daughters, Sheryn Marie Major, Frankie Jean Chavis & husband Paul; brother, Don Polley & wife Shari; grandchildren, James "Rusty" Major, Jonathan Major, Christopher Bain, Matthew Bain, Lorri Thomas, Samantha Cooke, Jeremy Russell; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Malcolm is preceded in death by his wife, Lena Mae Smith; parents, Ott & Virginia Smith; daughter, Jimmie Louise Russell; sister, Marie Courtney; grandchildren, Michael Bain, Kelly Bain, Meredith Hines.
He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in WWII.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM 8:00 PM, Friday, October 30, 2020 at Pace Funeral Home.
A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Restland Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Jeremy Russell officiating.
