Hearne, TX Thursday, March 5, 2020 I had the privilege of meeting Billie 40+ years ago. She was a mother figure to me at a time in my life it was needed. Straight shooter. We stayed at each other homes many times. Talked, laughed, and cried. Many good memories. She called me around 7pm the night before. We had a wonderful talk. She said again how she was ready to go home.....I told her maybe she was here just to talk with me tonight......i can still hear her laughing. My heart misses her but i know she is happy and at peace.Much love to Victoria, Allen and all the family.

Angleton, TX Wednesday, March 4, 2020 Billie lived a most adventurous life, and although she was my dad's first cousin, my sister and I referred to her as 'aunt Billie'. She was a firecracker, no nonsense woman who taught me many things throughout the years we were lucky enough to spend time with her in Colorado. The lesson that sticks out the most is to be grateful for others doing things for you. She always said "your way is perfect, because I didn't have to do it".Kennith McCaffety
Onalaska, TX Wednesday, March 4, 2020 Sister Billie was a sweet person, funny and quick to say what she thought. She truly loved one particular song that I would sing sometimes in church. She made me promise her that I would sing that song at her funeral. I asked her what if I should die first so she had me record it and she put it away just in case.
I am honored to be able to keep my promise to her. She is with the Lord now and will be missed by many friends and family. "Rest In Peace" my friend.
