Nora Jane Ulsrud, born on July 7, 1957 to Harris and Myrtis Ulsrud in Houston, Texas went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at the age of 62. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Kevin Ulsrud.

Nora proudly served the friendly skies as a flight attendant for Continental/United Airlines and was affectionally known as flying Nana. She always had a beautiful picture to share or story to tell of her many adventures. Nora was the most forgiving, kindest soul and had a smile that could light up any room. She was the light in any dark and we are comforted in knowing in absolute truth she is with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Nora will forever live on in our hearts until we meet again.

Good Lord, I am so very sad for all of you. Nora was one of the kindest people I have ever met. She was such a great buddy to my Sam and Max, as they grew up together with Ginger, Ryan, Joey and Gina. My finest memory is when she very patiently sat with Max on the steps of the pool, and taught him how to swim and he was not even 3 years old! I am so so sorry.

Nora was one of a kind... So many memories and all of them I just see her smiling and laughing! She touched so many lives and will forever be missed.

All our love and prayers go out to everyone hurting right now.

I lost my best friend..."my Texas sister' when I heard the news of Nora's passing. We met when she came to Nashville and we instantly became best friends...which I know that all who know and love Nora would understand how easy that would be. She lit up the world with her smile, charm and love for everyone! My deepest condolences and prayers for peace to John, Ginger and family and Ryan and family. Nora is truly an angel now in heaven as she was on this earth. Love and miss you Nora!!
