He is survived by his wife, Dawn Evans Smith; mother, Marie Hames; daughter, Stephanie Smith of Baytown; grandchildren, Trent Smith of Brenham, Jade Wotipka of Baytown; brother, Robert Smith & wife Shelly; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Paul is preceded in death by his father, Robert Smith.
He's Formally from Houston, residing in Livingston for 6 years.
He enjoyed playing guitar with numerous local artists.

Fort worth, TX Wednesday, February 19, 2020 You guys don't know me. I came across this profile by accident somehow. As I read It out loud I could almost here. Someone talking .A smooth voice. deep with an accent . He says "take it easy guys... dont worry so much. .. were all gonna die, might as well sit back. N enjoy the ride! Ill catch ya later" My baby is 2. He was just diagnosed with cancer and we started chemo treatments two weeks ago after surgery on his kidney. . I saw that his donated funds were going to a Cancer Foundation and I just thought that I would share my story and what I heard reading the obituary. and ask for your prayer if at all possible.Jerry & Lisa
