He is survived by his wife Melvice Coe; daughter, Karen Campbell & husband Andy; stepson Jeff Coe & wife Lesa Elkins, stepdaughter Lisa Coe; six step grandchildren, two step great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Loudell Richardson & husband Roy; Eddie Brackin & husband Billy; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Marvin is preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Trudie Richardson; brother, Calvin Richardson; sisters, Charlsie Waldrep, Patsy Allen, Bobbie Collins.
He served in the Army toward the end of WWII and worked as a supervisor in the Chemical Division of Texaco, his employer for over 30 years.
Marvin enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing and farming. In his later years, he enjoyed traveling, reading western novels, and working crossword puzzles.
Special thanks to Lesa Elkins, Jeff Coe, & Zeke Coe for tirelessly creating an environment of love, peace, & joy for Marvin every day of his final months.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Holly Grove Cemetery with Pastor Billy Brackin officiating.
