Harry Hayden “Anthony” Hill, loving son, brother, uncle, great uncle, and friend passed away on January 23, 2021, at Herman Hospital in Houston, TX.
Harry was born in Abington Township, Pennsylvania, on September 14, 1967, to Harry Harrell Hill and Patricia Regina Hill. They lived in Roslyn, PA until Harry reached the age of 3. Harry was raised in Houston, Texas, and graduated high school from Marian Christian High School in 1986. In 1984 his football team won the State Championship. He continued his education at the University of Sam Houston, where he received a Criminal Justice degree and worked at MCIP Corporation as a Senior Account Manager.
Harry fell in love with ice hockey at a young age. He would play at all hours of the day in his driveway at home or at the Sharpstown Ice Center, and he even played well past his college years. He was an avid history buff, loved riding motorcycles, playing guitar, and enjoyed the outdoors. He especially loved hunting trips with his dad in Brookshire, TX. He also loved to travel; his favorite trips were to Philadelphia and a Northern California trip with his mom. Harry never met a stranger and had the gift of making everyone in the room feel comfortable.
Harry is survived by his mother Patricia and his four siblings, sister, Alana Hancock (husband, Brian, children Jordan and Ryan of Waynesville, MO); sister, Leah Howard (husband Reggie, children Kylie, Kendall, Ben, and Karis of Livingston, TX); sister, Deanna Baker (husband Lee, children Will and Andrew of Cedar Park, TX); brother, Thomas Hill (wife Deanna, children Chloe and Ethan of Los Angeles, CA) along with his aunt, Ronnie Kyne. He is also survived by three great-nieces and nephews: Madelyn and Marshall Hancock of San Juan Bautista CA, and Olive Annett of Apollo Beach, FL.
Today, we honor and celebrate Harry, and he has left us with so much. Harry, may you rest in peace alongside dad and know that you will be dearly missed and always in our hearts. We love you, until we meet again. |
