Joe Edward Lenox, born March 18, 1942 to Edward and Lula Lenox in Houston, Texas, passed away on April 16, 2019 in The Woodlands, Texas at the age of 77 years.
He is survived by his wife of 54 ˝ years, Janice Lenox; daughter, Valerie Lenox; son, Joe Lenox & wife Paula; brothers, Jimmy Lenox & wife Joyce, Charles Lenox & wife Janie; sisters, Mary Neill & husband James, Betty Dean & husband Jimmy, Lura McBride & husband Rufus; grandchildren, Kevin, Holly, Hope, Nick, Haley, Heidi & Koy; great grandchildren, Leiya, Kade, Kaisley, Aubrey, River, Gage & Jordan; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Lula Lenox; brother, Bobby Lenox; sister, Billie Lou Harrington and Alma Gayle Lenox.
He was a veteran having served in the United States Army.
Joe loved gardening and landscaping.
A Visitation will be held Friday, April 19, 2019 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Big Sandy Baptist Church.
A Celebration of Joe’s Life will be held Friday, April 19, 2019 at 11:00 am at Big Sandy Baptist Church in Dallardsville, Texas with Pastors Charlie Dean and Max Nichter.
Interment to follow at Big Sandy Cemetery.
