Barbara Faye Bryant was born on September 20, 1950, to Coy Marion Andrews and Fadre Bernice (Spivey) Andrews, in Trinity, Texas. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 17, 2026, in Livingston, Texas, at the age of 76.
She devoted much of her life to her family, who brought her joy and were one of her greatest accomplishments. She married her husband David Eugene Bryant in 1987; they spent 32 years raising a family and making memories before his passing in 2019.
Barbara dedicated 15 years of service as a security corrections officer with the Texas Department of Corrections. In her spare time, she enjoyed painting, crafting, and shopping. She was also a member of the Onalaska Red Hats Women's Club, known for their beautiful hats, style and sisterhood. Barbara had a personal relationship with her Lord Jesus, and she attended St. Michael's Catholic Church in Jasper, Texas, when she was able.
She is survived by her son, Manuel Bryant and wife, Alexys; her daughters, Kim Bowns and husband, Curt; Tabitha Taylor and husband, Craig; Stephanie Bryant; and Lori Bryant; her grandchildren, Nicolle Noske and husband, Jason; Bradley Bowns and wife, Tiffany; Breanna Dotson and husband, Rowdy; Russel Provost and wife, Allyson; Rylee Taylor; Raygan Taylor; Aurora Bryant; and Hunter Pyles; her great-grandchildren, Haylee, Landen, Henley, Calvin, Dwight, Zoey, River, Tatumn, Trent, Lynlee, Lane, Emersyn, and Yance; as well as many other loved ones and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David Eugene Bryant; and her son, Jesse Bryant.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Pace Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas. A celebration of Barbara's life will follow at 3:00 p.m., with Brother Mike Loftin officiating.
Barbara will be laid to rest at Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth, Texas, on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
