Patrick J. Hohman, Jr. was born October 25, 1962, in San Antonio, TX to Patrick J. Hohman, Sr. and Eva Jane (Mason) King. He passed too soon from this life on June 22, 2024, in Livingston, Texas. He married Lorie Adel (Lundstrom) Hohman on April 15, 2000, at a motorcycle race in Columbus Texas. They lived in Katy, Texas for 24 years before moving to Livingston, Texas in 2020 after building their retirement home. Although Patrick had the ability to be a jack of all trades, he was a certified automatic transmission builder and an accomplished diesel and heavy truck mechanic with a degree from Texas State Technical Institute in 1982. He would use his mechanical skills to help family and friends with their vehicles. His friends and family greatly admired him and will always remember Patrick for his outgoing personality, witty sense of humor, dedication to hard work, and willingness to help others. Patrick's interests included dirt bike/4-wheel riding (raced dirt bikes in the good ole days), snow skiing, doing various boating activities, canoeing, camping, hiking, traveling, a love of setting-off fireworks, listening to music, and playing games with family and friends.

Patrick is survived by his parents, Patrick J. Hohman, Sr. and Jane (Mason) King; loving wife Lorie A. Hohman; children, Shayne Hohman, Jamie (Whitmire) Miller & husband George Miller, Danielle (Whitmire) Locus & husband Matt Locus, Korey Hohman, and Damon Hohman; his sibling, Paul Hohman & spouse Joan Hohman; grandchildren Luke & Lacey Locus, Delilah Vaughn-Hohman and Emmeline Hohman; aunt and uncle Ann and Bill Corneilius, other sisters & brothers-in-law Myra & Larry Plog, Cindy & Michael McCoy, Joey & Mary Lundstrom, and Johnny Lundstrom; as well as various other loved ones and numerous loving friends.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Alois John Hohman and Helen Hohman; maternal grandparents, Conn Luther Mason, and Elizabeth Ann (Jensen) Mason; mother-in-law Irene Adel Lee, and several uncles, aunts, brothers-in-law, and sister-in-law.

A private Funeral Mass for Patrick will be held Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 10:00 am, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Livingston, Texas, with Fr. Paul Kahan, SVD, officiating.
