Manuel C. Mata was born October 21, 1942, in Lane City, Texas to Paul and Isabel (Casas) Mata. Manuel passed from this life on May 19, 2022, in Livingston, Texas at the age of 79.
Manuel is survived by his children, Elisa Quintanilla, Manuel Mata Jr, Richard Mata, and Paul Mata & wife Rachel; siblings, Robert Mata & wife Sarah, Frank Mata & wife Paula, and Frances Lara & husband Juan; he was also survived by many grandchildren, great- grandchildren and numerous other family members.
Services for Manuel C. Mata will be Friday, May 27, 2022, in Livingston, Texas. A visitation will be held from 9:00a.m. – 11:00a.m. at Pace Funeral Home, a Rosary will be held at 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, a is to follow Funeral Mass at 12:00p.m. with Fr. Tarsisius Puling, SVD officiating.
