"Betty, Preacher and the rest of the family, I'm so sorry to hear of Melvin's passing. I have so many memories of Melvin's kindness and humor in those long ago times at Aunt Johnnie's. I remember Betty and Melvin showing me how they danced in the 50's and Melvin breaking out into the song "Let's Twist Again" in correct response to a Jeopardy question. I always think of him when I hear that song. I hope your memories are of comfort to you all."
