Joseph Henry Kovasovic III

Joseph Henry Kovasovic III, 67, of Livingston, Texas passed away on February 25, 2021. He was born on February 17, 1954 in East Bernard, Texas to Joseph Kovasovic, Jr. and Alice Aylor.
Joe was a dedicated father and selfless friend. He spent much of his life working in the meat industry from Kovasovic’s Smoke House to owning and operating Kovasovic’s East Bernard Meat Center. He touched many in the community with his focus on people and always putting the customer first. Joe loved playing pool, weekend trips to Louisiana for a bit of Black Jack and Dove hunting.
Joe is preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph Kovasovic, Sr.(Josephine), Felix Aylor (Mary), father, Joseph Kovasovic, Jr, sister, Cecilia Ann Allen and brother-in-law, Jeff Krueger.
Joe is survived by his son, Joseph Kovasovic IV (JK), mother, Alice Aylor Kovasovic, brothers, Theodore Kovasovic (Monica), Dan Kovasovic (Jennifer), sisters, Phyllis Hudman (Brett), Jackie Krueger, nieces and nephews, BJ Hruzek (Justine), Michael Hudman (Erin), Kevin Hudman, Jacob Hudman (Jessica), Tabor Kovasovic (Skylar), Jeremy Krueger (Sydney), Jacie Kovasovic, Gabby Kovasovic, Emma Kovasovic, and Aubrey Kovasovic and friend Lori Hargroves.
Due to COVID-19, there will be no public service or viewing. There will be a celebration of life for immediate family and close friends held soon. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Knights of Columbus of which Joe was a long standing member.
