James Roy Darby, born March 29, 1956 in Welch, West Virginia, passed away on June 10, 2020 in Lufkin, Texas at the age of 64 years.

He is survived by his former wife, Patty Barns Staggs; children, Deirdra Warren & husband Jason Fields, Donald Darby & wife Amanda, Christina Chamberlain & husband Bill, Tammy Darby Morgan; brothers, David Darby Sr. & wife Wendy, Ernie Darby & wife Mary Anne; sister, Rhonda Darby Ward; fourteen grandchildren; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

James is preceded in death by his parents, Curtis & Bethal Darby; brother, Curtis Darby.
