"Although I never got the privilege to meet Matchell in person, I’ve spoke with her many times over the last few years in phone and text. I always enjoyed talking to her.. she had a way of lifting my spirits, always had nice to things to say, and had the most kind, softest voice. She would talk about her husband, and children with great pride. I am so sad she is no longer here on earth with us, and that I didn’t get to meet this beautiful, caring woman in person, but I know she is rejoicing in heaven as her faith in our Lord was strong. Prayers to the family during this difficult time."

"I have known Matchell Ann through playing bridge at Catfish King. She was always kind and respectful toward all of us. She went out of her way to keep us happy and comfortable. She once allowed me to exchange a very pretty china cup that I coveted.
