Derrell Ray Shirley, born April 25, 1955 to Harold and Elaine Shirley in Brooksville, Florida passed away on April 19, 2019 in Livingston, Texas at the age of 63 years.

He is survived by his daughter, Cheyenne Vaillan Court, brother, Harold Shirley; sister, Patricia Joyce Cole; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

Derrell is preceded in death by his parents, Harold & Elaine Shirley; sister, Teresa Shirley.

"I am so thankful that you are at peace now. No more hard time and ill health. I know we have not talked in years, but you are still my brother and I have always loved you. Should have told you before now, but I know in your heart you knew this. I know people always say things like that after the fact. I talked to my pastor and he said passing on Good Friday was a blessed time to go. My you have peace now and always be looking over us and know we love you
