James Leslie Boren, born December 15, 1921 in Delhi, Louisiana, went to be with his Lord February 6, 2019 in Livingston, Texas at the age of 97 years.
James is survived by his son, James L. Boren Jr. & wife Kathleen; brother, Walter Boren & wife Francis; sister, Lucy Manning; two grandchildren TJ and Bryan Boren; numerous other relatives and a host of friends .
He is preceded in death by his wife, Janet Boren and parents.
James was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during WWII He was also a Boy Scout leader for many years and was a man of the Baptist faith.
A Graveside service and Military Honors will begin at 12noon Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Peebles Cemetery with Pastor Jim Sherrill and VFW Post 8568 officiating
