Evie Maude Walker, born July 23, 1932 in Livingston, Texas to Loyd and Mary (Sanders) Smith passed away on January 17, 2019 at the age of 86.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Walker and daughters Elaine Wischer & husband James, Lyndal Stewart & husband Steve, Colleen Shaver & husband John, Susan Mondragon & husband Steven; brothers, Harry Smith, Joe Hume & wife Joyce, Dwight Smith & wife Reitha, sisters, Mary Ann Smith & husband Prentis, and Ruth Taylor. Grandchildren, Stacey York & husband Tim, James Daryl Wischer, II & wife Lou Anne, Craig Stewart, Rebecca Wischer, Jared Stewart & wife Liz, Christopher Shaver & wife Michelle, Michael Mondragon, Mark Mondragon, Chloe Shaver, Delaney Shaver; Great-grandchildren, Adrian Roberson, Blake York, Gracie, Kenley, Kallie Wischer, Asher Stewart, Nolie and Lilly Shaver. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law, Brooksie Smith and brother-in-law, James Taylor and granddaughter, Releah McCauley.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 20, 2019 from 2 – 4 p.m. at Pace Funeral Home, 200 FM 350 N, Livingston, TX 77351.
Celebration of Evie’s life will be Monday, at 11:00 a.m., January 21, 2019 at Charity Tabernacle, 1634 FM 2457, Livingston, Texas 77351 with Pastor Richard Gray and Pastor David Fauss officiating. Internment will be at Oates Cemetery, Leggett, Texas.
