Rebecca Ann Knighten, 62, was born in Silsbee, Texas, on October 15, 1946 and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday May, 5, 2009.
She is survived by her step-mom, Marcia Knighten, sisters, Joyce Roper of Cleveland, Debra and Bob Harper of Silsbee, and sister-in-law Johnnie Cox of Livingston, uncle J.D. and Grace Johnsten of Silsbee, Bobby Johnston of Shephred; Thomas and Carolyn Johnston of Livingston, aunts, Glenda and Raymond Pelton of Shepherd, Wanda Johnston of River Side; Nieces Brenda and Kevin Morton of Millsbrook, Al., Jennifer Towell of Silsbee and great niece Haley.
Mrs. Knighten is preceded in death by her dad, Tom Knighten and mom Eunice Johnston, and brother W.L. Cox.
The pallbearers will be Raymond Pelton, Wayne Hargraves, George Primrose, Richey Kinder, Erine Johnston, Robert Owens, Gilbert Johnston and Randy Johnston.
Funeral services were Saturday, 10:00 AM at the Pace Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Darrell Hargraves and Rev. Bobby Frankens officiating. Visitation was Friday Evening from 5:00 to 10:00 PM. Interment followed in Peebles Cemetery.
