Raymond Eugene Vailes, Jr., born October 23, 1943 to Raymond and Ola Mae (Walters) Vailes, passed away on April 10, 2018 in Nacogdoches, Texas, at the age of 74 years.
He was employed and retired after 17 years with Pridgen Land Surveying Company as a land surveyor. Raymond was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas.
Raymond’s loving family includes; wife of 25 years, Teresa; daughters, Sunnie Vailes, Laura Jerry &, husband, William, Angie Christoph & husband, Travis, Marissa Griswold, Casey Jones & husband, Greg; son, Cullen Vailes & wife, Renee; brother, Donald Wayne Vailes; sister-in-law, Cindy Vailes; grandchildren, Tasha Wiginton & husband, Billy, TJ Christoph, Autumn Bowlen & husband, Nick, Krishana Hicks & husband, Brandon, Zachary Howard, Cary Vailes, Caitlyn Vailes, Aliyah Brown, Miracle Ramirez, Jace Ramirez; nine great grandchildren and one on the way; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Harold Benton Vailes.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 from Noon to 2:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Raymond’s life beginning at 2:00 at Bethel Baptist Church, 8815 FM 350 N, Livingston, Texas. Pastor Tim Thompson will be officiating. Interment to follow at the Bold Springs Cemetery in Livingston, Texas.
