"Jeanette and Family: I did not know about John's passing from this life to the next, since I have been unable to go to Church, and no one notified me. I have spending more time with James as he continues to decline. Please know that I did not forget about John, you, and your family. Please know that James and I love you. If I can do anything to help, please let me know. I will return to work next week and perhaps we could have lunch sometime. Call me, I know, really know what you have been going through. Keep James and I in your prayers."

"Such a very dear friend...such great memories we have! The wallpaper is still there and the Astrodome lights still shine. I think of John when I look around this place. Such a very talented man. May God give his family comfort at this time. Rick, Janna, Robert & Shane."
