James Titus Taylor, born January 1, 1937 to Lannis and Dorothy (Whitten) Taylor in Joaquin, Texas, passed away on February 19, 2018 in Dunn, North Carolina, at the age of 81 years.
James’ loving family includes; wife of 60 years, Ruth Ellen (Smith)Taylor; sons, Raymond Taylor & wife Mary, Reggie Taylor & wife Cindy; sisters, Melba Hicks, Linda Goodwin & husband Noble;nine grandchildren and many loved great grandchildren. Numerous other relatives and a host of friends
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Ronald Taylor; grandchildren, James Ray Taylor, Shelby Taylor; sisters, Beverly, Helen and Betty Marie; brother, Waymon
Celebration of James’ life will begin at Noon on Friday, February 23, 2018 with a visitation one hour prior to service at Pace Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Pastor Larry Goodwin officiating. Interment to follow at Oates Cemetery in Leggett, Texas.
