Robert Glendon Richardson, born December 22, 1929 in Livingston, Texas to MJ & Lottie (Taylor) Richardson, went to be with his Lord on October 28, 2017 in Livingston, Texas at the age of 87 years.
Robert was a faithful member of Holly Grove Baptist Church, He served as a Mason in the Trinity Masonic Lodge #14 of Livingston and was a Veteran of The United States Army having served during Korea War in the states.
His Loving family includes wife, Gloria Richardson of 64 years; son, Cecil Richardson & wife Cynthia; daughter, Glenda Faye Williams & husband Riley; brother, Roy Kenneth Richardson & wife Mary Loudell Dale; grandchildren, Jason Daniel Richardson & wife Monica, Stephanie Nicole Hathaway, Joshua Aaron Richardson & wife Sarah, Jessica DeGel & husband Michael, Rebecca Bickley & husband Jared and Hailey Davison & husband Dalton; eight great grandchildren; numerous other relative and a host of friends.
Mr. Richardson is preceded in death by a son, Carl Anthony Richardson; sister, Catherine Johnson; brothers, OJ, Lewis, Garland and Murphy all Richardson’s
Celebration of Robert Glendon’s Life will begin at 11am at Holly Grove Baptist Church with a visitation 1 hour prior to the Celebration Monday, October 30, 2017 with pastor Billy Brackin officiating. Interment to follow at Holly Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Rhodes, Jason Richardson, Kyle Hathaway, Jack R. Williams, Jared Hathaway, Kent Dowden and James T. Richardson
Honorary Pallbearers will be Cole Richardson, Stephanie Hathaway, Nicole Hathaway, Hayley Richardson, Jessica DeGel, Rebecca Bickley and Hailey Davison
