Marie Y. McFarland, age 94, of Segno, Texas, was born September 14, 1923 to John and Allie (Warren) Young in Apple Springs, Texas. passed away on September 28, 2017.
Marie was a member of the Magnolia Hill Baptist Church and attended the Big Sandy Community Church for years. She enjoyed quilting and spent precious hours making baby quilts for family and friends.
Her loving family includes; sons, Curtis Wayne McFarland & wife, Patricia, Kenneth Lane McFarland & wife, Judy, Larry Dale McFarland & wife, Judy; brother, Frank Norris Young & wife, Rosie; sisters, Cora Faye Hines, V.J. Kinley; grandchildren, Kelly Dalton, Jerry McFarland, Amy Srader, Cody McFarland, Lindsey Parish, Neil Wayne McFarland, Teena Calkin; great grandchildren, Emma Kate Dalton, Macie McFarland, Kambrie McFarland, Averie McFarland, Addie Claire Srader, Landon Parish, Brady Parish, Wayne Christian McFarland, Katherine McFarland, Steven Calkins; and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Marie is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louie McFarland, sisters, Opal Stanley, Lora Bell Overstreet, Gladys Collins, Murlene Davis
Visitation will be held from Noon ‘til Service on Monday, October 2, 2017 at Pace Funeral Home, Livingston, Texas.
Celebration of Life will begin at 2p.m. with Brother Rex Hendrix officiating.
Interment to follow at the Magnolia Hill Cemetery in Segno, Texas.
