Charles Duane Jones, age 82, of Onalaska, Texas, was born March 16, 1935, in Elmore City, Oklahoma, and passed away on June 18, 2017 in Houston, Texas.
He was a member of the American Legion Club Post #402
Charles is survived by his children, Lucinda Christoffersen, Timothy Duane Jones; sisters, Gaye Guelker & husband, Marvin, Anna Dunigan; grandchildren, Jessica Holmes, Scottie Helm, Felisha Herschel, John Charles Jones, Andrew Duane Jones, Leona Suetta Leroux; great-grandchildren, AlexZander Helm, Maddalyn Meyer, Landyn Frye, Jessica Leroux, Jeremy Leroux; and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents J.C. and Naomi Raines Jones; wife, Lola Jean Evans Jones.
A Memorial Service will be held on June 20, 2017 at 5:30p.m. at the American Legion Post #402. and Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 2:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m in Lawrence, Kansas.
