Robert Ray Young, born October 20, 1942 to Burnett and Louise Stringer Young in Jena, Louisiana, went to be with his Lord on April 7, 2017 in Pointblank, Texas at the age of 74 years.
Robert proudly served his Country in the United States Army. He loved his family dearly. Robert was a lifetime NRA member and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
His loving family includes; his wife of 52 years, Sherry Young; son, Robert D Young & wife, Karen; daughters, Barbra Cooley & husband, JD, Brenda Scott & husband, Larry; sister, Brenda Gantt & husband, Carl; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Burnett and Louise Young; daughter, Rhetta Landry.
