John Gerald Haynes born August 14, 1935 in Livingston, Texas passed away January 7, 2009 in Trinity, Texas at the age of 73 years. John is survived by his wife of 42 years, Opal; sons, John Haynes, Gerald Guy Haynes and wife Brandi, step-daughter, Kathy Odom and step-son, Max Odom; sister, Billie Jean Tierney, 7 grandchildren, 4 step-grand children, 5 great grand children. Pre-ceded in death by step-son Mickey Buck Odom and brothers, Leonard Guy Haynes, Kenneth Eugene Haynes and sister Mary Lou Lucas. A celebration of Johns life will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Bold Springs Cemetery with Pastor Frank Hood of Soda Baptist Church officiating.
