William “Bill” Edwin Axelson, born August 13, 1954 to William Edward, Jr. and Maudie Frances Cook Axelson, in Galveston, Texas, went to be with his Lord, November 29, 2016 in Lufkin, Texas, at the age of 62 years.
Bill was the head of the Recovery International Group in Livingston, Texas.
Bill’s loving family includes; children, Dana Porche & husband, Abbie, Laurie Strickland & husband, Ashley, Bobbie Axelson; sisters, Patricia Rainey, Terry Arnold & husband, Charles; mother, Maudie F. Axelson; ten grandchildren, Reed Porche & wife, Sarah, Madalyn Porche, Grayson Porche, Rachael Porche, Cadence Porche, Matthew Porche, Jacob Porche, Lauren Strickland, Sadie Strickland, Taylor Axelson; one great-grandchild, Berkeley Porche. nieces, Cheryl Black, Tiffany Strawn, Christina Arnold; nephew, Jason Arnold, and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, William Edward Axelson, Jr.
