"Well its been almost a month since our Lord has called you home, it's going to be hard to go to the lake and not seeing you there, but it will also be very comforting just knowing you was there. It was awesome to have you as my uncle, you were also like an older brother and at times a father figure as well. I'll never forget the stories you told me when we were young and I was to young to remember as we grew up, I remember the one where you said you would never have your family have to live in a trailer and as you quoted that I said my family would never have to sleep on the floor, well my family never had to sleep on the floors and the only trailers you ever had, had either a boat, horse, lawn mower or a B B Q pit on it. I will also remember the story of how your father Vernon and his brothers Clayton and Albert kept Bonnie and Clyde hide out for a few days at the old home place in Nacogdoches. We never know what the Lord has in store for us or when the day is we will be called home but at 69 you was way to young to leave us here. I do thank you for always being there for me, I will never forget you and will cherish all the memories we had together throughout our life's adventure. I love and will miss you."
