"I am just now learning about Mrs. Porter's Passing, she was my favorite neighbor growing up. She lived next door to my grandparents, and she would let us wonder in her yard, and she'd teach us about her garden, she even took us to Bible School one summer. Her and Mr. Porter were just the sweetest people to us, and I always wondered where she was when she moved. I have a treasure that she made me, a handmade quilt, it was a gift to me on my 18th birthday, and I treasure it so. God bless all her loved ones that are still here, and God rest her soul, and her husband and daughter's. She's someone that has left a deep mark on my heart."
