Obituary

Dawn Diane Marie Brigance Poirier would like you to know that after 30 short years her work here on Earth is done. She received an invitation for a meeting from which she will not be returning, a sort of offer she could not refuse. Dawn was reunited with her heavenly angel Khaiden on January 14, 2016, a reunion that she had been anxiously awaiting. In addition to loving, guiding, and protecting her angels here on earth, she will continue her hobbies of crafting, video gaming, investigating, cosmetology exploration, and making exceptional music in heaven. Dawn was fierce, epically hilarious, rich with adventure, and exquisite. She would tell you that she did many things and had several names and titles, but the most important to her was “mommy.”

Dawn leaves behind her children Leighton (9) and Maddalynn (7) and their daddy, Justin Poirier. Her parents, Monte and Cheri Brigance, cannot wait for the day they get to listen to her voice singing with the angels. She will also be deeply missed by her sister and sidekick, Christina Couch and husband Curtis, nephews Daron, Dylon, and Troy, brother Ben Brigance, and her Mimi, Shirley Partlow.

Family and friends are invited to the commemoration of her life on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 6:00 pm at Pace Funeral Home, 200 FM 350 North, Livingston, TX.

"My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Ms. Dawn obviously made a good name for herself and captured the love of many. God says that a good name is better than good oil, and the day of death than the day of one’s being born because, to God all of his loyal ones who have died faithful to him are as good as alive ... their resurrection is a certainty! May these wonderful promises comfort all of the family and friends until God's promises are fulfilled. ~ Ecclesiastes 7:1; John 3:16; 5:28, 29"
