Funeral services for Walter Gene Watson, age 54, will be held Sunday, September 28, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Camp Ruby Community Church, with Rev. Rex Hendrix officiating.
Burial will follow at Camp Ruby Cemetery. Mr. Watson passed away September 25,
2008 in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Watson was born in Norfolk, VA, February 17,1954, to loving parents Walter J. and
Lela Berniece Bailey Watson. Both parents and grandparents have gone to be with our Lord.
Walter loved fishing, liked to shop, liked community church dinners, liked giving little gifts. A very quiet person. A simple man leaves a big heart to all that he loved.
Walter was the proud father of Brandi Genette and Lindsay Ryanne Watson of The Woodlands, TX. Also a grandson, Adrien Michael Johnson of The Woodlands, TX. Brother and wife; Marty and Sharon Watson of Rye, TX. Sister Bernadean Watson Brinkman of Livingston and sister and husband; Genny and Kenneth Devoltz of Livingston, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles. Walter loved everyone.
Pallbearers that will lay Walter to rest are; Kenneth Devoltz, Doug Chapman, Kevin Quinn, Chad DeFord, Craig Brinkman and Terry Faulka.
A special thank-you and love from Walter and his family to aunt Hazel Milliken my boy and Joyce Bailey, L.E. Bailey, Enneth and Bobbie Murphy.
