Dovie Loree Parker, 92 of Beaumont passed away on Sunday October 22, 2006. Services will be held 10:00AM Wednesday October 25, 2006 in the Pace Funeral Home Chapel, followed by burial at the Midway Cemetery in Midway, TX. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 10:00pm on Tuesday October 24, 2006 also at Pace Funeral Home. Services will be conducted by Rev. Gray Pearson, and Rev. Larry Trust. Mrs. Parker was born December 8, 1913 in Livingston,Tx. She was affectionaly known to her family as MawMaw. She loved quilting, enjoyed cooking,and playing 42 with her friends and family. Most of all she will be remembered as a loving and caring woman who always put her family first in her life. Mrs. Parker is preceded in death by her husband Bethel Mack Parker, mother and father Walter and Hattie Treadway, her sisters Opal and Mavis, and her brothers Richard and Red. She is survived by her only child Wayne Parker Sr. and his wife Polly, sister Geneva Rogers, 2 grandchildren Tammy Pearson, and Wayne Parker Jr., and six great grandchildren Parker, Chandler, Kyler, Foster, Dustin, Presley, and numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be, Dave Nelson, Doug Vaughn, Marvin Lowery, Justin White, and Bobby Treadway, Bill Treadway
