"Missing my brother-n-law, John Quiency Conley Jr.. He was the best brother-n-law that could possibly exist! One of my best friends, see I was able to grow up with my brother-n-law which bonded my relationship pass an in-law, he was my big brother! We did things together, we had secrets together, we laughed together and yes we cried together. He was a lot of persons to me and I fully enjoyed my time with him. Always with a big heart was he ready to do what ever the need was to get the job done! Not a question asked and not a dime passed for services rendered. A brilliant mind and a spirit to work. Laziness was not apart of his demeanor. You always knew where he was coming from, he made it very plain. He didn't talk behind your back and never let you talk with him. He saw people in a real aspect. He had no problem with discussing issues with any one of a different opinion, turning the negative into positive. A love for all mankind with no respect of persons, where his up-bringing is credited to his late Pastor and First Lady, John Quiency Conley Sr., his parents! He and his siblings are the pediment of their parents up-bringing to which train up a child in Jesus, even with our different walks of life we will return. I thank God for placing him in my life at such a young tender age to where I could know a side of him that others didn't recognize. You see it is so easy to judge a person from the outside, but thanking my God daily for looking at our heart! Who we count out God count worthy! Peter gives us a really good example of this kind act. To my niece and nephew: Stacy Conley, Tony Conley and his granddaughter Madison Simpson, it is such an honor to have known your daddy is such a way that will carry my memories past his short comings! May God strengthen and encourage and cover you while you go through your mourning period! We love you! —"

"My heart just broke. I hadn't heard about "Mr. Quincy's" passing and just happened upon it, in reading the obituaries. He was our sweet, funny neighbor and friend, when we lived in Livingston. Oh, how we love him! We will certainly miss his contagious laugh and his tender heart. I'm forever grateful to him for coming to my rescue, when I suddenly became very ill and was home alone. I will keep his family in my prayers. May he rest in peace, until we see him again."
