Funeral Services for Christine McMayon, age 80, were held Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at Center Hill Baptist Church, with Pastor Glenn Cooksey officiating. Burial followed in the Center Hill Cemetery in Oakhurst, Texas. Visitation was held July 29,2008, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
Mrs. McMayon was born July 31, 1927 in Honey Island, Texas, she passed away July 26, 2008 at her residence in Livingston.
Preceding her in death are her parents J.C. and Ruby Lee Roten Jackson and her husband Luther E. McMayon, Sr. Five sisters and two brothers.
Her survivors include her son Luther E. McMayon, Jr. and wife Jeri, her daughter Karen McMayon Hughes and brother Jerald M. Jackson and wife Mildred. Grandchildren; Shannon, Eric, Ryan, Keri McMayon, Kaci Lee, Mark Hughes and wife Kimberly. Great Grandchildren; Eric Jr., Alexandra, LeeAnn, Dominic, Jaden , Stormy McMayon and Nathan Lee.
