Funeral services for Cyrus W Kugler, were held Thursday, July 17, 2008, at Pace Funeral Home, with Cyrus's brother, Kim Kugler officiating. Mr. Kugler passed away at Hospice In The Pines, in Lufkin, July 15,2008 after a long illness. Mr. Kugler was buried July 18, 2008 in Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Mr. Kugler was born in Beaumont, Texas, November 6, 1947 to George and Barbara Meyer Kugler. Cyrus was a Vietnam Veteran. He liked to play golf and loved to play the drums.
Preceding him in death is his father, George Kugler.
His survivors are his mother Barbara Kugler; his two sons, Kristan Kugler from Nederland, Texas and Casey Kugler of Groves, Texas. Two brothers Kim Kugler and wife Jackie of North Richland Hills, Texas and Dane Kugler of Port Arthur, Texas. his former wife, Donna Childress and one grandchild, Kyla Mae Kugler.
