Bobby Harold Pop Kimes born on August, 2, 1937 in Livingston, Texas to Hal Augusta Kimes and Caddie Oliver Kimes, passed away on November 23, 2014 in Livingston, Texas at the age of 77. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 57 years, Sandra Kimes children, Sonja Wallace, Robin Shotwell husband Joe, Shani Landry husband Mike, DeDe Saunders husband Tommy, Megan Kimes sisters, Vernelle Cain, Darlene Tincy Simpson husband Oliver Preacher grandchildren, Bobby Wallace wife Lynn, Jason Wallace, Josh Shotwell, Dr. Joseph Shotwell wife Emily, Coco McSwain husband J.J., Jefry Saunders, Amy Landry, Kelcie Landry and Noah Landry great grandchildren, Allison Wallace, Carolyn Wallace, Peyton Shotwell, Katherine Shotwell, Kelsey McSwain, Jayden Saunders and Michael Shane Landry Beavers numerous other relatives and a host of dear friends. Bobby was preceded in death by both his parents granddaughters, Haley Land Shotwell Paige Saunders nephews, Jesse Duke and Dale Simpson. Bobby was a Deacon at the Oak Grove Church of Christ in Livingston, Texas. He loved to hunt, fish and play cards. Bobby was a very kind and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved his family very much and will be missed dearly. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on November 25, 2014 at Pace Funeral Home 200 FM 350 North Livingston, Texas. A Celebration of Bobbys Life will be at 10:00 A.M. on November 26, 2014 at Pace Funeral Home. Officiating will be grandson, Josh Shotwell son in law, Mike Landry Pastor Mike Miller. Pallbearers will be Bobby Wallace, Jason Wallace, Dr. Joseph Shotwell, Noah Landry, Richard Cain, Nick Cain, Lynn Simpson and Mike Duke. Honorary pallbearers will be Pete Langford, Carl Cruce, Lloyd Luco, Jefry Saunders, Vincent Incardona, Josh Shotwell, Mike Landry, Joe Shotwell, Tommy Saunders, Richard Wallace, Dennis Quinlan and Tony Harris.
