"I am Choppy's first cousin, daughter of Ray Norris -Ella's brother. I was looking up information on him online, hoping to get in touch with him. I am so shocked to find that he died two years ago. Choppy was one of my favorite cousins - such a sweet person. Mary, I am so sorry I did not know of his death. I saw you and Choppy at Woodland Heights Hospital in 2003 and he sent me the article of him being named Chief Correctional Officer of the Year in the state of Texas. I was so proud of him and showed it to all my friends. After that I became ill and went through several years of recuperation. I am now retired. I am grieved that we did not stay in touch - I always loved Chooppy. Please contact me sometime., Love, Joan"
